Longtime data and tech leader David Seawright introduced as GP3 Tech President, political technologist Eric Wilson as Vice President

WASHINGTON, October 11, 2023 – Today, GP3 Partners announced the creation and launch of GP3 Technology Group (GP3 Tech), a new subsidiary focused on building innovative technology solutions for GP3’s clients in the corporate public affairs and political arenas. Joining GP3 Tech as its new president is David Seawright, a data and tech veteran with a proven track record of innovation at the intersection of public policy and politics, and its new Vice President is Eric Wilson, among the leading political technologists working in Washington today.

“GP3 Tech is another example of GP3 Partners pushing the envelope in the public affairs space,” said GP3 CEO Darrell Lauterbach. “Our clients will be direct beneficiaries of this expansion and we’re thrilled to have David and Eric leading this new venture.”

As part of the formation of GP3 Tech, Bullpen Technology Group (BTG) – an independent subsidiary of Bullpen Strategy Group – has been acquired by GP3 Partners and its team of developers now form the foundation of the new GP3 Tech venture. At BTG, the team was responsible for driving tech-centered solutions for clients across industries. Projects included building large databases for public affairs campaigns, AI-driven video platforms, programs to synthesize large amounts of voter data, and subscription data services.

About David Seawright:

Prior to joining GP3 Technology Group, Seawright was Chief Revenue Officer of Tunnl, an audience intelligence platform for public affairs advertisers and purpose-driven marketers. Early in his career he joined Deep Root Analytics as its second employee, where he developed expertise in data solutions for political and public affairs advertisers. Named a “40-Under-40” recipient by the American Association of Political Consultants and a “Rising Star” by Campaigns and Elections Magazine, Seawright’s work and commentary has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Politico and more. He has a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.A. from Georgetown University, and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and three children.

About Eric Wilson:

Eric Wilson is a political technologist driving innovation and digital transformation as Senior Vice President at Bullpen Strategy Group. He is a veteran of numerous campaigns on the state, federal, and international level. Eric led Marco Rubio’s digital team during his 2016 campaign for president, served as digital director of Ed Gillespie’s campaigns for Virginia Governor in 2017 and U.S. Senate in 2014, and advised on digital strategy for the National Republican Senatorial Campaign in 2016 and the Liberal Party of Australia in 2016. In addition, Eric has held digital strategy roles at the American Action Network, Engage, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Wilson is a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children.
